Hana and Kornel's seemingly routine outing to revive trail markings in a remote forest with paint and brush quickly turns into a daring survival adventure, where they will confront not only the wilderness but also their fragile relationship. With ironic sarcasm this animation explores the distorted relationships humans have with one another and with the mountains, plants, and animals.
Mária Kralovič
Born in Slovakia in 1988, she graduated from the School of Applied Arts in Kremnica and specialized in animation at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. She currently teaches animation at VŠMU in Bratislava. Her film Fifi Fatale (2018) was nominated for a Slovak National Film Award. Her latest work, Tourists (2026), premiered at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2026.
