In Tafí del Valle, in the mountains of Tucumán, Argentina, Lucila is destined to care for her elderly mother. Her gestures and silences speak of a duty she carries out with love and resignation, as if it had been entrusted to her by her ancestors. But Lucila dreams of a different life and desires to change her destiny. Only after her mother's death can she finally begin to live. A tender look at the relationship with death and life in the culture of Tucumán.
