In the Portuguese region of Minho, a strange figure wanders around with a microphone and headphones. He is not simply searching for sounds, but for traces of his birthplace. He meets a mother who keeps her restaurant open in the hope that her son will return, a cowboy who wonders what will become of his cows, a widow who cares for a chapel that no one visits, and the memories of an elderly woman. A documentary about the ghosts of the past that invites us to reflect on the future of these rural lands.
Radek Ševčík
A Czech director, he lives between Bratislava, Slovakia, and Zlín, Czech Republic. He is a master's student in documentary directing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. His short films have been screened at international film festivals, including DOK Leipzig and Kassel Dokfest. In 2025, he founded the production company tucnak.art in Bratislava with Petr Chromčák.
Petr Chromčák
Born in Vsetín in 2002, he is a Czech editor and director. He holds a degree in film editing from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. His projects have been included in FIPADOC in Biarritz, DOK Leipzig, Filmschoolfest in Munich, ShorTS in Trieste and Shorts Mexico.
