If in the Alps it's wolves that complicate life for shepherds and ranchers, in Patagonia it's pumas, and the dynamics unleashed are entirely similar. A young biologist investigates these by embarking on a long, solo bicycle journey, meeting farmers and scientists, talking with them, and illustrating anti-predation systems, such as guard dogs and deterrent lights. In the open and bitter debate between those who make their living from agriculture and livestock farming and those who rely on nature tourism, some explore a possible coexistence, while others consider solving the problem with hasty and illegal DIY methods. In the backdrop are the majestic mountain landscapes of Patagonia, which the protagonist traverses amidst snowstorms, violent winds, and breakdowns of his bicycle and film equipment. This journey is both an immersion in one of the world's wildest regions and an invitation to reflect on our relationship with wildlife.
