Litha, a young Xhosa woman, meets Khuselwa, the determined last ranger of the Amakhala Game Reserve in South Africa's Eastern Cape. She joins her on a reconnaissance tour, and thanks to her, she discovers the fascination and importance of the rangers' work, protecting the reserve's imposing yet endangered last rhinos. Unfortunately, the excursion is cut short by the arrival of poachers. After this dramatic experience, Litha will make a decisive life choice.
