This work, inspired by ciné-tracts, very short French protest films mostly shot in 1968, asks us to reflect on the numerous animal and plant species disappearing from the planet in our time. To use the director's words, we are witnessing a true “mass extinction.”
Marcel Barelli
Marcel Barelli (1985, Lodrino, Switzerland) is a director of animated films and author of illustrated books. Passionate about animals and nature, he develops all his projects around these themes. His short films have been selected in hundreds of international festivals and won numerous awards all over the world. He lives and works in Geneva.
