In a rural farmhouse in Umbria, a family of beekeepers lives by its own rules, striving to preserve a pastoral utopia on the margins of the contemporary world. The arrival of a “troubled” boy and a television competition celebrating the most “authentic” farms disrupt the fragile balance of the family and their connection to the land they inhabit.
