83 films, 34 countries, 25 Italian premieres
Eighty-three films from thirty-four countries, with twenty-five Italian premiers. These are the numbers announced on August 1 at the press conference to present the 20th Film Festival della Lessinia. The Competition section includes fourteen documentaries, three features, eight shorts and three animated works that will vie for the Lessinia d'Oro and the Lessinia d'Argento. The FFDL+ programme for children comprises nineteen short and animated films subdivided into the age groups 3+, 5+, and 10+. The thematic Homage to the Snow includes six films, while the Other Mountains section includes ten. Completing the programme are the nineteen works in the retrospective, "Lessinia 20", with one film for each of the past FFDL editions: an homage to the Festival itself, to celebrate its 20th birthday.
