IL VENTO FA IL SUO GIRO

THE WIND BLOWS ROUND

Giorgio Diritti / Italy / 2005 / 110 min / Colour

Philippe, a French shepherd, moves with his family to a remote village in the Maira Valley. However, its agricultural activities and the rigid individualism that characterises it cause tensions among the inhabitants, leading to conflicts that reveal the dynamics of a closed community resistant to change. The film, based on a tue story, explores themes of integration, mistrust, and isolation.
