A young woman with long red hair is walking in the woods when, unexpectedly, a young lumberjack declares his love for her. Her impulsive and contemptuous refusal unleashes in him a deep resentment that turns into a thirst for revenge. The girl, hunted, will have no other hope of salvation other than freeing her shadow with a spell.
