STORIES OF TREE AND MEN
The actress Margherita Sciarretta and the musicians Guillermo Gonzales and Sbibu propose a voyage dedicated to the courage of Julia Hill, nicknamed “Butterfly,” who spent 738 days at 50 metres above the ground, perched in an evergreen sequoia called Luna to prevent it from being felled. The performance will be preceded by an audiovisual intervention by Giorgio Vincenzi, co-author of the book Grande albero (Accademia di Agricoltura Scienze e Lettere, 2024) dedicated to 190 monumental trees in the province of Verona, protagonists and silent witnesses of our past and of our future.
