Along the banks of the Sile River
Man's intervention with Nature can be detrimental, as we have seen in the case of the Valont dike. Other places require constant attention and special care. This is the case with the Cervara oasis within the Parco di Sile, a marshy area that must be monitored to avoid excessive overgrowth of the forest.
This naturalistic site also has a didactic function and permits visitors to get close to rare plants, flowers, and animals such as the beautiful Kingfisher. The Film Festival della Lessinia paid tribute to the beauty of this river with the presentation of a photo-reportage by Fulvio Roiter and a documentary by Enzo Procopio and Loris Mora.
