ESPÉS
Spagna / 2014 / 12 min / Colour
Like many other mountains villages, Espés, in the Argonese Pyrenees, is slowly dying. Only four elderly people remain. Thier voices accompany images of the empty village. Thier words recount fear, remorse, and ancient memories. In the end, their faces appear: between the wrinkles of time we can read the inevitability of a future of neglect.
