Oblivious to worldwide fame, which led him to work in Paris, the artist Motoapohua Santos de la Torre continues to live in the remote Western Sierra Madre in Mexico. His life merges with the rites, daily activities, colours of nature and emotions, giving rise to extraordinary murals, rich with hues and symbolism, that express the magical world of the Huichol people. For them, everything, even a name, has a soul and a meaning. The documentary tells about Santos’ daily work and follows him on the peyote roads toward the sacred site of Wirikuta.
