SØSKEN TIL EVIG TID
SIBLINGS ARE FOREVER
Frode Fimland / Norway / 2013 / 75 min / Colour
The septuagenarians Magnar and Oddny are brother and sister. They live an untroubled life tending their livestock in the Norwegian mountains, unaware and wilfully distant from the bustle of the Northern cities. From their daily routine transpires a sense of deep joy and harmony, that leads them to take loving care of one and other with the same careful, aff ectionate gestures that they use to care for and coddle their animals. Their days are marked by habitual gestures, interrupted by occasional trips to town or a visit from farawayrelatives from abroad that will not disrupt their routine in any way.
