“The Ancients believe that every animal carries with him a special gift, a power. And it is said that among all the animals, the wolf is the great master”. In a world in which it is difficult to live in harmony with the Earth, is there something we can learn from animals? The director writes: “Every story in Wolf Dog Tales represents something that my friend Paco taught me in the little time we had together. Only later did I learn that all of this has to do with the stories and beliefs of the Native Americans about animals, a wisdom that is thousands of years old...” This animated film was inspired by Navajo sand paintings, an ancient form of indigenous religious art.
