In the mysterious country of Tuva, located at the source of the Yenisei River in northern Mongolia, lies the true Wild East. Vast open grasslands mix with mountains and dense taiga. Among the valleys a strange hypnotic song can be heard coming from afar. The words cannot be distinguished, but the meaning of the songs is clear to everyone. This is the Huun-Huur-Tu group, the main guardian of traditional Tuva music. Offers of a comfortable life in Europe, success in Hollywood and the patronage of Arab sheikhs arrive, but the group doesn't need them. After years of touring and traveling, they decide to return to their homeland to ensure that the traditions are solid and evolving. The feature film, with refined photography in 4:3 format, alternates narration with musical pieces and panoramas of mountains with breathtaking profiles.
