Set among the remains of electronic equipment, clouds of smoke and scorched earth, Agbogbloshie is located in the heart of Accra and is one of the largest e-waste recycling sites in the world. An observer is there to investigate this place from a spiritual perspective, as a contact zone between complex global economic, social, political and technological processes.
Elom 20ce
A Togolese activist, musician and director, he lives in Lomé, Africa. His artistic research focuses on the link between the intimate, spiritual and political spheres. He defines himself as the "overthrower of the invisible". He is the co-author of documentaries including La mémoire du sang (2021), Noire Velours, aux couleurs de Lomé (2022) and Umoja (2023).Musquiqui Chihying
Chihying divides his time between Taipei and Berlin, working in visual art, and specializes in the use of multimedia content. His works have been presented at international film festivals including the Berlinale (2022), the International Film Festival Rotterdam (2020) and the Taipei Biennale 2016. He won the Loop Barcelona Video Art Production Award 2019.
Gregor Kasper
Kasper is an artist and filmmaker who grew up in East Germany in the context of the post-communist transformation following the Cold War. His works have been presented at film festivals such as the Berlinale and the Locarno Film Festival, and at international exhibitions such as the Ostal Biennale in Dresden and the Festival of the Image Forum in Tokyo. He lives in Berlin.
