Since time immemorial, the population of Iceland has had an intimate and mysterious relationship with Snaefellsjökull, a mountain-volcano-glacier in the extreme west of the island. This volcano was made famous by Jules Verne, who indicated it as the door that led to the center of the earth. And it holds magical and evocative sites, such as the great spiral in the meadow, which seems the place where everything began, or its peak with the great monolith, that evokes the Olympus of the gods. The Mysteries of Snaefellsjökull is an audio-visual reportage and a work of research that combines documents and testimonies. It is a visionary voyage that accompanies the spectator through an exploration of the legends that revolve around this mythical, mysterious mountain. Finally, it is the discovery of a similar world and a fantastic tale.
