Father and son depart on a voyage in an off-road vehicle through the Albanian mountains. The first has a past as a boxer, the second wants to devote himself to a promising career as a hairdresser and make-up artist. Everything about them seems in opposition, but this forced closeness leads them to face the difficulties of the trip together. The pungent and predictable initial bickering gives way to a deepening of their relationship that has evolved, and is transformed into a sincere bond of reciprocal esteem and respect between adults, that goes far beyond the exterior differences.
Łukasz Borowski
Born in Łódź, (Poland), after studying law he attended the National Film School in his native city and the Wajda Master School. With the film 3 Dny Wolnosci (3 Days of Freedom, 2011) he won many international prizes, among these awards from the Euganea Film Festival (Padua) and Visions du Réel. His short film, Przed Świtem (2016), has already been shown at important festivals, from Korea to Columbia.
