Gummi and Kiddiley share the same land and the same solitary life of sheep farmers, in the snowy, barren expanses of Iceland, but they haven't spoken for forty years. Their days revolve around their affectionate care of the animals and are marked by tragicomic scenes in which the two, in a kind of dance, ignore one and other reciprocally. However, when they discover that a sheep has a contagious disease, this equilibrium is forced to crack. The health checks threaten to take the entire flock to its death. For this reason, the brothers rekindle their relationship and together face the difficulties. Against a background of wide Icelandic landscapes, this is a story of solitude, identity, and brotherhood. The film won in the section "Un certain regard" at the Festival de Cannes 2015.
