LA STAZIONE DI POSTA
THE COACHING INN
Carlo Malacchini / Italy / 2016 / 16 min / Colour
Between the 1800s and the 1900s, the Lessinia Mountains were a borderland. In the valleys, life went on calmly, marked by the rhythms of the seasons, and people were entirely self-sufficient. Consequently, their dealings with the outside world were kept to a minimum. One day, in a Lessinia hamlet, a travellers' carriage stops to spend the night. The children of a farming family remain enchanted by a young girl with golden hair and a large blue hat who gracefully takes out an elegant violin from her heavy trunk. But soon the travellers depart, leaving the children with only a fleeting memory.
