TOTEMS

It seems a day like any other for the lumberjack who, armed with a chainsaw, strides confidently to work. When an accident leaves him immobilised under the trunk of an enormous fir tree, his perspective changes completely. From master, the man becomes prey. The spirit that awakens in him leads him to undergo a continual and terrible metamorphosis, evoking the totemic entities of his animal origins. In the symbolism of this animation, realised with just a few, effective facial expressions and sounds, we are witness to a struggle for survival, until the man's energy fades away.
